Thank you for your patience as NEIEP developed a plan to adapt to the evolving global crisis. Here is some info on how the semester will move forward.
* Classroom Students will be moved into an online Home Study version of their class.
* Students will begin online classwork on Monday, April 13th.
* Students will have access to online exams, virtual lectures, and live mentoring through the NEIEP website.

For the safety of our instructors and students, no further classroom courses will be held during this Spring semester.
All students enrolled in Regular Curriculum semester courses have been moved to a Home Study version of their class.
Any Unit Exams sent to NEIEP by students who were already enrolled in Home Study will be processed until April 20th, 2020.
All remaining unit exams must be completed online.
If a student did not pass an exam sent to the NEIEP office before April 20th, they will retake that exam online.
Students can begin online classwork on Monday, April 13th.
Students will receive emails and notices from NEIEP letting them know how to complete their semester online.
Student progress up to now has been recorded and transferred with them to Home Study.
Students should continue to read their textbooks using the Student Support Material application.
Students who do not have NEIEP Student Laptop can download the SSM onto a personal computer from the NEIEP website.
Please note: the SSM cannot be downloaded onto Mac computers, tablets, or smartphones.
Weekly lessons will be presented as pre-recorded videos on the NEIEP website. Students can listen to these lessons as many times as they would like, along with reading their text, to prepare for unit exams.
NEIEP will host live mentoring meetings once a week through Microsoft Teams where students can meet with a NEIEP instructor.
These meetings are strongly encouraged, but not mandatory.
Students will receive details about how to join the meeting in their NEIEP email and on the NEIEP website.
Meetings will be grouped by regional area.
Unit exams have been moved online. Students can begin taking unit exams whenever they feel prepared and advance through the semester at their own pace.
100 and 300 Students: must complete all homework and unit exams. Unit exams and homework may only be attempted once. Lab and participation will no longer be calculated in the grade.
200, 400-800 Students: must achieve at least 70% on all unit exams in order to be eligible to take the final.
Week 18 is scheduled from June 1st through June 6th.
All unit exams must be completed by Friday, May 29th at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. Students will not be able to access unit exams after this.
How and when the Final Exam will be conducted is to be determined.
Students in Home Study classes are not eligible to take the Semester 500 Practical Exam.
